OBITUARY COLUMN

Sandra Farris, a current member of Society of Southwestern Authors, and Dan Farris sold the movie rights of their book, OBITUARY COLUMN. The movie titled, “Obituary of the Sun”, is scheduled for release to theaters September 29, 2010. OBITUARY COLUMN is about Tracy Chapman, an antique dealer, whose true passion is locating missing families of the deceased. Mystery and murder surrounds her latest assignment from the corner’s office: the death of a ninety-six year old Jewish gentleman, Samuel Levine. His death poses more difficulties than just locating his family. What secrets did Samuel keep that led to murder and kidnapping? Did Samuel still have family in Germany, or would Tracy locate them in America.

Robert Loggia is in it and they are preparing it for the Sundance Film Festivals. The other known actor is Sam Hennings, who recently appeared on Cold Case File as a race horse owner involved in a murder.

      On a charter flight with a passenger on board to Oregon’s Briar Meadows Ranch, the left engine of Cimmaron Air’s Beech Baron freezes on final approach.  Kasey O’Brien has to set the plane down without the aide of emergency services, thus earning her the nickname, Lady Ace. 

      During the inspection of the engine, she discovers an oil line has been purposely cut and is forced to stay at the ranch until a replacement can be flown in.  Since he failed, would the saboteur make another attempt on her life, or was her passemger the target?
