Playwrights Foundation-Tearrance Chisholm’s HOODED, OR BEING BLACK FOR DUMMIES a HUGE HIT

THE REWRITE:

February 2 2017

We Couldn’t Be Prouder!!
Playwrights Foundation Alumnus
Tearrance Chisholm‘s
HOODED, OR BEING BLACK FOR DUMMIES

a HUGE HIT At DC’s Mosaic Theater!

A timely, irreverent examination of growing up black in America by rising-star local playwright (and PF Alum) Tearrance Arvelle Chisholm.  Now through Feb 19th.

From its reading at the 2015 Bay Area Playwrights Festival to this world premiere major production in Washington DC, HOODED has traveled a long way in a short time.
It’s a testament to both the brilliance and timeliness of the play and the success of PF’s playwright development process!

But don’t take OUR word for it:

“Breathtakingly on-point new comedy”

-Nelson Pressley, The Washington Post
