Phoenix Chapter of The Society of Southwestern Authors- Chapter News

      Phoenix Chapter News

The Metro-Phoenix (Arizona) Branch meets on the fourth Friday of the month for lunch at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Tempe Arizona.  The address is 4400 South Rural Road.  The hotel is south of the 1-60, and the north side of the building seen from the freeway.

The majority of our members are published writers and we enjoy the social contacts and “cross-pollination” of ideas at our meetings.  Coming up next year we have a focus on free lance writing with Win Holden, publisher of Arizona Highways and Keith Shaw, publisher of iPULPFiction.com

Our officers are Carole Schoneman, president, Katherine Herbert, vice-president, Jan Murra, secretary, and Mike Bercaw, treasurer.  Two members at large, Hugh Starkey and Dorothy Anderson, also serve as back-up for secretary and treasurer.

We enjoy strong support from the officers in Tucson and are delighted when members from other branches drop in to visit.

Check out the website for upcoming events.  Reservations are important.  Please RSVP to Carole Schoneman at schonm@me.com
