Susan M. Ballard lives with her husband, Brian, on Blue Moon Ranch in historic Pearce, Cochise Country, Arizona  She is a member of The Society of Southwestern Authors, The Western Writers of America, The Cochise County Historical Society, The Old Pearce Preservation Association, and the Sulphur Springs Valley Historical Society.  Her work, both fiction and non-fiction, has appeared in Chronicle of the Old West, the Cochise County Historical Journal, Ghost Town Trail News, Out West, Roundup, Voice in the Desert, War Journal, The Western Way, and Wild West.  She is a regular contributor to The Tombstone Times.

Susan’s novels include: BORROWED TIME, HOLLIDAY IN TOMBSTONE, DEATH TAKES A HOLLIDAY, KATE, THE RAIDER, AND MURDER IN PEARCE.
