Fresh off the printer just this week, the play experiments with thedisorienting and ridiculous, prone to shifting rules, technical issues like pixellation and buffering, and yet finding moments of honesty, intimacy and human longing. VRTU-L is the final play in T.D.’s Veterans Trilogy, that includesQueens for a Year (BAPF 2013) and Beyond the 17th Parallel.
Best known as writer and story editor for the acclaimed TV series “Army Wives”, TD MITCHELL’s award-winning play scripts include A Gray Matter, In Dog Years, and Beyond the 17th Parallel (being adapted as a feature film), and Queens For A Year (World Premiere at Hartford Stage Sept 2016; read at BAPF).
