GDCA cordially invites you to join us for our February, 2017 Artist Reception,
celebrating not one, but two exhibits this month: “Echoes” & “Presidential Distress”.
“Echoes” is a group-show, featuring Mixed Media Works, Digital Art and Paintings.
“Presidential Distress” is a solo offering in 2 parts, of Architect/Artist/Activist
Neil Bernstein, whose politically charged installations have gained attention
since his internationally exhibited museum works collection of
“9.11 WTC Ash-works & Debris Memorial Paintings”.
This month he is launching his latest series of “Presidential Distress Flags”.
What ties both exhibitions together, is an inherent advocacy and expression of diversity,
while examining the dialectics of the ‘American Dream’, as it is being redefined.
Additionally, we are excited to announce a surprise-unveiling of the most recent
and final piece in artist Ni Li’s ‘We Are Parts of the Culture’
Calligraphy – Mixed Media series: “Velvet Dreamers”!
Please join us!
WHEN: Saturday, February 18th from 6pm – 10pm.
WHERE: GDCA Gallery / 727 South Spring Street / Los Angeles, CA 90014 (between 7th & 8th Streets)
