It is the beginning of the Genetic Age, and the next step of human evolution has arrived.

We must grow beyond Earth to survive, and a new species will be born.

Evolution takes us beyond space and time to the end and the beginning.

The EVOLUTION RIVER SERIES is the culmination of a lifetime of wondering “Who are we and where are we going?”  With a care of an engineer in mining and algaculture, the technologies are apparent in his stories.  This series is another example of his non-conventional thinking.  The tradional good versus evil storyline is changed, and it is difficult to define those terms.  His understanding of people is apparent in his characters.

Having lived in Tucson, Arizona for more than fifty years, he brings us a view of the Arizona desert now and perhaps in the future and the incorporation of the Tohono O’odham legends into his stories reflect the history of the area.  Clayton’s hobbies include cooking, reading, hiking, his 1929 Mercedes kit car, and old firearms.  He and Linda are going strong after more than forty years of marriage.  His daughter and her family are the lights in his life.

THE EVOLUTION RIVER SERIES follows human evolution from today eons in the future

MAROON THE IMPLACABLE The Collected Writings of Russell Maroon Shoatz

by Russell Maroon Shoatz

Foreward by Chuck D

Afterword by Matt Meyer and Nozizwe Madlala-Routledge

Edited by Fred Ho and Quincy Saul

“This book, MAROON THE IMPLACABLE, is that very funky instruction manual on how to make revolution against Imperialist America.”- Amiri Barak, former Poewt Laureate of New Jersey

Russell Maroon Shoatz is a political prisoner who has been held unjustly for over thirty years, including two decades in solitary confinement.  He was active as a leader in the Black Liberation Movement in Philadelphia, both above and underground.  His successful escapes from maximum-security prisons earned him the title “Maroon.”  This is the first published collection of his accumulated written works, and also includes new essays written for this volume.

His innovative and historical analysis of the U.S. prison system.  Maroon communities throughout the Americas, eco-socialism, eco-feminism, food security, prefiguration, and the Occupy Wall Street movement provide cutting-edge challenges for today’s movements for social change.
