HOW TO PITCH LIKE A PRO
Log Lines & Pitch Preparation Seminar

A log line is a Hollywood term for the one-sentence, high-level description of a script or an idea. It’s been adopted by the publishing industry as well, and works exactly the same way.

Presented by a best-selling author who uses these techniques to successfully sell to publishers big and small, you’ll learn how to create one for your book as well as identify the key aspects of your novel that will interest agents and editors and make them ask for more.

Students will exit with three different log lines … Hollywood, Comparative, and Expanded … prepared for any kind of pitch, from elevator to private appointment.

Seminar atTendance requires a completed MS in hand. Laptop recommended. Enrollment limited to no more than 12 individuals. Seminar runs 4-8 hours depending on number attendees.
