Garry Rogers has a PhD in physical geography. His master’s thesis and doctoral dissertation dealt with landscape changes in the deserts of North America. He taught and continued his research at Columbia University in New York, and at UCLA. He has published four books and hundreds of articles. He is an elected member of SigmaXi the scientific research society and the Phoenix College Alumni Hall of Fame. Garry lives in Humboldt, Arizona.
