Hi Folks,

Well, I have two bits of exciting news to announce today, so I’ll get right to it.

Least_180First, we just released our third short fiction anthology. The Least He Could Do is an eclectic collection of twelve short stories that combine to form a pleasing if occasionally troubling mixture. Here you will find professional and amateur detectives, strung-out criminals and a kindly neighborhood grandmother, a moonlighting real estate agent, absurdity, quiet terror and a great deal more. There are twists galore. You’ll visit past-Earth, a country preacher, a parish priest, a space station under sieBge and a troubling distant future dystopia. At times you’ll laugh out loud, and at times you’ll have to stop reading to let your heart calm down.

You can purchase The Least He Could Do in any eformat at Smashwords right now. The regular price is only $3.99, but because you’re a StoneThread Publishing subscriber, you can get it for 25% off. During checkout, just enter coupon code UB74C (not case sensitive) and it will cost you only $2.99.

From 1990 until 2007, he was assigned to the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Dallas Field Division Office, Enforcement Group 2 (a smuggling unit). Over the years, Gary accumulated numerous awards from law enforcement agencies and was an instructor at several area police academies including the Dallas Sheriff’s Department, Dallas Police Department, Regional Police Academy in Arlington, Texas, and DEA’s training programs. During that time, he also taught courses in international smuggling at the American Airlines academy. He holds a Master Peace Officers certificate and is a graduate of DEA’s Drug Unit Commanders Academy in Quantico, Virginia. From the other side of his brain, he has written a full-length comedy stage play called Moby And Dick, which was a semi-finalist in a statewide playwriting competition, and a one-act play called Tap The Brakes, Elvis. Finally, in the next month or so we’re planning to release two long-awaited books: Glen M. Glenn’s Last of the First Born (the first book of the last SF epic you will ever need, we swear!) and Harry Stein’s first new novel with StoneThread, Will Tripp, Pissed Off Attorney at Law. Watch for a special announcement about both of those books. Of course, we have a few other titles in the works too. It’s a great time to be part of the StoneThread Publishing family. Catch island fever with this funny Hawaiian mystery set on the beautiful island of Oahu.Wilson McKenna’s newest tenant is hot, gives great hugs, and just saw a dead body being thrown from a plane. McKenna’s not one to get involved in other people’s problems, especially those of a woman half his age, but before he knows it, he’s volunteered to track down the plane and its owner. In no time, McKenna has uncovered an island drug ring, pissed off a sociopath, and set himself up as the victim in a beautiful woman’s con that could cost him his life.Trouble? Oh, yeah. McKenna’s found it. If only trouble didn’t have such great legs.

    Book Reviews:

I have just finished reading Photo Finish and I absolutely fell in love with the strong, well-defined, very humanly portrayed characters. I found myself relating to the places mentioned in the book as I currently live on Oahu. I found myself laughing, being disturbed, mystified, and having “ah-ha” moments as the mystery unraveled. The suspense and action kept you motivated to know what was coming on the next page.” K. Meador, Amazon
