LETTERS FROM BILL 20 YEARS OF CORRESPONDENCE WITH BILL CLINTON
by Gloria O’Donnell
“I loved LETTERS FROM BILL. It brought back so many good memories …”- Bill Clinton
In 1974, in a small Arkansas town, Bill Clinton and Author Gloria O’Donnell became acquainted. Choosing to support the young law professor for Congress rather than the local Congressional candidate, O’Donnell, an enthusiastic campaigner, became a key player in Clinton’s bid for Congress and the pen-pal of the future U.S. President.
As life unfolded its many pages of busy lives, obligations, political campaigns and Presidential responsibilities, the two remained pen-pals and friends. The letters they wrote to each other and the author’s memories reveal a genuine friendship between the two.
Gloria O’Donnell has written many articles, feature stories, interviews and poems. She is currently a columnist for her local newspaper, but this is her first book. She says she will be writing “more books.”
Gloria and her husband, Bill, reside in a small community in South Central Pennsylvania. She and Bill Clinton still correspond.
