Redirected, Not Retired: A Brief Biography
After a teaching career that began with the Cuban missile crisis in 1962 and ended with a continuing threat of terrorists attacks in 1998, Duke Southhard redirected my energies to writing. In May 2000, Peter Randall published A FAVOR RETURNED, his first novel. AGENT FOR JUSTICE followed, published by Hot House Press of Cohassett, Massachusetts, in October, 2003. THE NICK: A VISION REALIZED is a commissioned history of a large recreational facility in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, and THE WEEK FROM HEAVEN AND HELL, a memoir about the tragic, early death of our son in 1992, was published by Wheatmark in 2010.
Education credentials include a BS in English from Villanova University, an MA in English Education from Rowan University and a CAGS in Media Technology from Boston University.
