David Ray-the only poet to receive the William Carlos Williams Prize twice

David Ray is the only poet in the world who has received the William Carlos Williams Prize twice from the Poetry Society of America.  His new book of short poems AFTER TAGORE: POEMS INSPIRED BY RABINDRANATH TAGORE was not only inspired by the mysticism and lyricism of Tagore’s Bengali Poems, but David Ray has also found inspiration for this work from his own experiences, thoughts, and feelings.
